Welcome to the DNA 2011, the 3rd International Conference with the theme DNA Finger printing the past, present and the future. “Very often new break throughs are made and new technologies develop the whole direction of research and its impact”. DNA Fingerprinting is one such technology which has advanced and sophisticated the whole forensic science. From 1985 when this technology was first discovered by Sir Jeffreys and in 1988 by Dr. Lalji Singh in India it has helped in solving many challenges of Biotechnology research , Human Genetics, Crime investigation, Forensic science ..,& what not! It has not only helped in trapping the culprits but also acquitting many innocents. Slowly it has left its mark so deeply that many countries have either passed DNA Legislation or it is on table waiting to be passed like in India. DNA 2011 Conference is designed to provide a deep insight to DNA related technicalities and pertinent law and order to Forensic Scientists, Professionals working in Forensic Science labs, Forensic Doctors, Biotechnology Professionals, Police officers, Judiciaries, Law enforcement agencies, academicians, Researchers and students in the field of Forensic Science, Biotechnology and Medicine.
With the primary goal to promote Importance of DNA Finger Printing in Crime Investigation and Biotechnology research this conference is most reputed and one of its kind which has been successful in grabbing attention and adding quality to forensic science developments in India.
